dry beans

Adam and the kids processed our dry beans.  We grow just one variety each year for our family.  This year we grew Vermont Cranberry beans and ended up with a great harvest.

  1. Looks great! So fun to stick your hands in the beans, isn't it?

  3. I'm so impressed by how much you are able to grow. I used to grow a little bit of a lot of things but have recently switched to growing as much as i can of a few things (like potatoes) and buying the rest from local farmers. Dry beans is something I have never tried, but that I will be testing out when we move to our "homestead" in about 10-15 years (so far we have the property and a little sleeping shack, but can't move there quite yet)
